Khosrow Shotorbani is the CEO and founder of Lab 2.0 Strategic Services, LLC.  He is a member of the board, and President, Executive Director of Project Santa Fe Foundation, advocating for Clinical Lab 2.0 movement.

Mr. Shotorbani was instrumental in the creation of Project Santa Fe—a initiative with like-minded executives—helping to drive new frontiers that will define future economic valuation and placement of diagnostic services and practice of laboratory medicine.

As the former President and Chief Executive Officer at TriCore Reference Laboratories, Mr. Shotorbani oversaw the corporate direction and strategy of TriCore, focusing on leadership, culture and innovation, as well as operations, growth, and the financial health of the company. He led TriCore’s initiatives based on the premise to improve health outcomes, population health and lower overall costs of delivery by predictive utilization of laboratory data.

Before joining TriCore in 2014, Mr. Shotorbani served as Senior Vice President, co-Director of Business Development and Director of Business Innovations at ARUP. He joined ARUP in 1984 as a medical technologist and while at ARUP advanced to positions with progressive responsibility over his 30-year tenure.

Federico Lega, Ph.D, is full professor of health policy, management and economics at Milan University and Director of the Research Center in Health Administration (HEAD). Further, he leads the life-science and health sector division of the Milan School of Management. His research interests, executive education activities and consultancy projects focus on health leadership, organizational development of health organizations, change management and innovation in health services delivery, strategy-making and competitive positioning of pharma and medical technology industries. He’s board member and the past President of the European Health Management Association and has held visiting professorships in several universities (INSEAD – France, Stellenbosch – South Africa, UAB – USA, Innsbruck – Austria, Birmingham – UK, Gulf Medical University – UAE, etc.). Since 2015 is Editor in Chief of the international journal “Health Services Management Research”.  He has published ten books and over 150 journal articles journals.

Craig is a certified health executive and long-standing member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders, holds an ICD.D with the Institute of Corporate Directors, and is an Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columba.
