Colleen Strain, PhD is a Scientific Manager for Global Scientific Leadership and Education at Abbott. She is also on the scientific lead for the UNIVANTS of Healthcare Excellence program and lead for the Executive Leadership Exchange program. As a champion for laboratory medicine, Colleen is passionate about driving healthcare excellence through scientific collaborations and partnerships, while maximizing value within healthcare.

Colleen is a corporate representative on the International Federations of Clinical Chemistry (IFCC)– Task Force on Outcome Studies in Laboratory Medicine and actively supports the IFCC Task Force for Corporate Members.

Tricia Ravalico is the Director of Global Scientific Leadership and Education for Abbott. She is also the executive lead of the UNIVANTS of Healthcare Excellence Program, a prestigious global award program that was developed to recognize, amplify and inspire best practices in healthcare transformation. Her responsibilities within Abbott medical and scientific affairs include cultivation of scientific partnerships, collaborations, and the development of global education strategies across congresses and healthcare disciplines.
She serves on multiple IFCC committees and/or working groups, currently serving her second term as Corporate Representative for the IFCC Publications and Communications Division. She is also Chair of IFCC Task Force for Corporate Members and actively supports the IFCC Committee for the Clinical Application of Cardiac Bio-Markers (TF-CB) among other advisory roles and committees.
She has a professional history in assay and system development, a background in biochemistry, and holds several patents in the area of sample to sample carryover. Over the course of her 25-year career in diagnostics, she has held multiple positions in Research and Development, Scientific Affairs, Medical Affairs, Business Development and Global Marketing.
