Dr. Grenache is the chief scientific officer for TriCore Reference Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In that role, he leads the TriCore Research Institute and works cooperatively to develop and implement TriCore’s scientific research strategy.
He is also the laboratory director of TriCore’s flagship Core Laboratory, the medical director of immunology and of point-of-care testing, and a clinical professor of pathology at the University of New Mexico.
Dr. Grenache earned his PhD in biomedical sciences from WPI in Worcester, Massachusetts, and completed postdoctoral training in clinical chemistry at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Chemistry, a Fellow in the AACC Academy, and an AACC past-president. His research interests are centered on leveraging longitudinal laboratory data to gain insights into population health.

Dr. Shannon Haymond is a Past President of AACC. She is Vice Chair for Computational Pathology and Director for Clinical Mass Spectrometry at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Dr. Haymond is Associate Professor of Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Haymond’s computational pathology efforts are aimed at building the capacity for advanced data analytics in her department through innovations in infrastructure, education, and research to facilitate data-informed decision making for clinical care, operations, and quality assurance. She recently completed a Master of Science in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University.

Christina Caraballo is Vice President of Informatics at HIMSS where she strives to transform healthcare, make a positive impact in the world and improve communities at the local, national, and international levels.
She was appointed to the Health IT Advisory Committee (HITAC) by the Government Accountability Office and recently served as Co-Chair for the U.S. Core Data for Interoperability Task Force where she led a group of industry thought leaders to produce recommendations to present to the National Coordinator for Health IT. She is currently working on ONC’s Annual Report to Congress.
As a recognized leader in the health IT sector, Christina was appointed to the Maryland-D.C. District Export Council (DEC) by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce. She acts as an advisor to the Department of Commerce on global exports of health IT and expanding local, national, and global business opportunities for companies in the Maryland and DC regions.
